How Did Paysandu Lose After Leading 1-0?

Paysandu started the match against Amazonas at Estádio Carlos Zamith in dominant fashion. Lucas Cardoso scored in the very first minute, giving the visitors an early lead. That fast start, however, proved deceptive — Amazonas hit back and completed a 2-1 comeback victory on Sunday, July 26.

The turning point was a penalty conceded by defender Bruno Bispo on attacker Bernardo Daciolo, which Amazonas converted for the 2-1 lead. Coach Júnior Rocha was visibly frustrated after the final whistle, pointing to individual errors as the root cause of the defeat.
