AiMOGA is the robotics division of Chinese automaker Chery International, operated under the OMODA & JAECOO brand. The company chose Brazil as its latest market at a moment when 80% of Brazilian companies report difficulty hiring service and operations staff, according to ManpowerGroup research — a gap that robots can help fill.

Which robots did AiMOGA debut in Brazil?

Two flagship products were showcased at the Prêmio Valor Inovação Brasil event in São Paulo on August 3:

  • Mornine — a humanoid robot connected to cloud-based intelligent platforms. It will initially operate inside OMODA & JAECOO dealerships, interacting with customers, explaining vehicle features and answering questions. Mornine is the first humanoid robot to hold dual EU certification for both hardware and software, covering safety, cybersecurity and data protection.
  • Argos — a robotic dog with fully autonomous operation that requires no internet connection, powered by AiMOGA's proprietary large-language-model architecture.

The company also displayed the OMODA 7 Luxury SUV, underlining its broader smart-mobility ecosystem vision.

When will the robots go on sale in Brazil?

Both products are currently undergoing homologation by Anatel (Brazil's telecoms regulator). Commercial availability is expected from October 2026. Residential applications for Mornine are also planned for the near future.

How big is the global robotics market?

Morgan Stanley projects the global robotics segment will exceed US$ 5 trillion by 2050, with more than 1 billion humanoids active in industrial, commercial and residential settings. AiMOGA says it has already sold more than 2,000 humanoid robots and robotic dogs across more than 60 countries.
