What engine does the Jeep Avenger have?

The Avenger arrives with a 1.0 three-cylinder turbocharged engine paired with a 12V mild-hybrid (MHEV) system. The powertrain is the same unit found in the Fiat Pulse Audace 1.0 Turbo Hybrid, producing 125 hp and 20.4 kgfm of torque on both gasoline and ethanol. A small 4 hp electric motor and a 0.132 kWh battery round out the hybrid system.

Where will the Avenger be built?

Jeep will manufacture the Avenger at its Porto Real plant in Rio de Janeiro state, making it the first MHEV vehicle produced at that facility. The SUV rides on the CMP platform, shared with Citroën and Peugeot models.

What does the Avenger look like inside and out?

Outside, expect Jeep's signature seven-slot grille with integrated lighting, X-shaped rear lamps, trapezoidal wheel arches, roof rails, dual-tone paint, and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The brand also highlights robust bumpers and promising approach and departure angles, though exact figures have not yet been confirmed.

Inside, Jeep says the cabin was designed around ergonomics and comfort, featuring premium materials, ambient lighting integrated into the design, and intuitive technology.

Does the Avenger have AI on board?

Yes. One of the headline tech features is a voice assistant powered by ChatGPT, developed in partnership with OpenAI. Jeep says this will let occupants interact with artificial intelligence directly inside the vehicle.

What about fuel consumption?

Official consumption figures for the Avenger have not been released. As a reference, the mechanically similar Fiat Pulse achieves 9.3 km/l city / 10.2 km/l highway on ethanol, and 13.4 km/l city / 14.4 km/l highway on gasoline.
