When Can You Buy Rio Carnival 2027 Tickets?

Liesa, the league that organises Rio's top samba schools, launched the third ticket sales phase on the night of Monday 10 August. Tickets are now available through the Ticketmaster platform for all three competitive parade nights and for the Champions' Saturday.

How Much Do Tickets Cost?

This year Liesa introduced a fixed-price model: R$ 250 per night for both special grandstand seats (sectors 2–11, excluding sector 9) and individually numbered seats in sector 12. A half-price ticket (meia-entrada) costs R$ 125, and only one half-price ticket per CPF (Brazilian tax ID) per parade day is allowed. Each buyer may purchase a maximum of four tickets.

What Are the Parade Dates and School Order?

Rio Carnival 2027 runs across three nights:

• Sunday, 7 February: União de Maricá, Beija-Flor, Paraíso do Tuiuti, Vila Isabel
• Monday, 8 February: Mocidade, Unidos da Tijuca, Salgueiro, Imperatriz Leopoldinense
• Tuesday, 9 February: Portela, Viradouro, Grande Rio, Mangueira

The six top-ranked schools will return to the Sambadrome on Saturday, 13 February for the prestigious Champions' Parade.

What Ticket Phases Were Already Available?

Before this general sale, Liesa had already released the Passaporte Rio Carnaval (covering all three competitive nights) and the Ingresso Sambista (single-day, buyer chooses the date). This third phase covers individual nightly tickets at a flat price.
