A judge from the 7th Civil Court of Campinas, Vanessa Miranda Tavares de Lima, ordered a forensic audit of Ponte Preta's membership database. The expert appointed is José Pio Tomassi, who has five days to submit his professional CV and fee proposal before work begins.

The expert must analyse system access logs, registered users, change history, privilege modifications and all movements recorded between January 1, 2018 and the conclusion of the audit.

Who Filed the Case?

Former members of the Fiscal Council, Eduardo de Moraes Bertolazzi and Errol Wilson dos Santos, filed the action. They allege the club repeatedly failed to comply with court orders to disclose the members register, preventing verification of election legitimacy and the current Deliberative Council composition.

How Did Ponte Preta Respond?

The club denied any irregularities. Its defence stated it has been in contact with the system provider since May to enable access to the requested information, adding that the former administrator login no longer works and that company representatives never visited the stadium to assist with the process. The club also argued the lawsuit is politically motivated.
